My name is Sydney Weissman. I am eighteen and from Pasadena, California. I am currently studying hospitality management; I am eager to continue my hospitality career. Recently I traveled to Europe where my passion for hospitality was confirmed. I experienced authentic comfort, but missed my home where I had the luxury of serving others to the fullest extent of my means. I aim to create a brand that fully communicates the purpose of interior design and culinary arts, to install curiosity. 

 

My website is made of three sections to represent my three passions: culinary art, travel, and brand/design. 
I have been in the kitchen since nine. My recipes are elevated versions or classics, that is where I am in my culinary abilities. I am 100% in my knowledge of the basics, but have little practice with contemporary food, thus I met somewhere in the middle. 
Traveling has a large influence in my life. With my family and friends I have been all over America, to Mexico and france. However, I traveled solo for the first time to Portugal, Italy and spain. The cultural immersion was eye opening, but beyond that, I have made a deep relationship with myself built on trust. 
I use my brand to demonstrate my most abstract ideas. This coincides with design. I have been practicing the arts, specifically in visual and writing my whole life. Design is a board term, but for me it is how I innovate myself, and connect my ideas with the public.
